Rate Details Grant Woodruff

A deposit equal to one hourly rate ($450) per party is required within five business days of the initial joint conference call, or as specifically agreed to otherwise.  If services provided amount to less than the deposit, the balance will be refunded.  If the total exceeds the deposit, the balance will be due within 30 days of the invoice.  In the event that the deposit is not received by the mediator by the agreed-to date, the date set for mediation will be cancelled.

There is no charge for the first one hour of travel to and from the location where the mediator’s services are required (two hours and 120 miles per round trip).  Beyond these initial one hour time frames and distances, travel will be billed at one-half of the hourly fee plus expenses.

Late Arrivals/Cancellation

Please arrive promptly for the mediation, as you will be charged starting from the time that the mediation is scheduled to begin. Mediations may be rescheduled or canceled with at least seven business days advance notice as a courtesy to other parties and this office.

Should the mediator be forced to pursue remedies to collect fees and costs due and owing, the parties shall be responsible for payment of interest, attorneys’ fees, and all other costs incurred in connection with the same.  Counsel guarantees the payment of any amounts due and owing.
